the last too mornings on the train. So people need to work on their sitting still so i can draw you skills. You’ll get there.
For quite a while Bus Stops in Baltimore were motto-ized with, ‘Baltimore, the city the Reads’, which has now changed, probably for the better since it struck me as a bold face lie. Never Not once did i see someone reading at a bus stop. New York on the other hand people Read… or… listen to IPorducts, talk too loudly, have little to no manners or public awareness, respect for personal space, and Fight all on the trian. Take that Baltimore, youll need more then a sky rocketing murder rate to compete with NY.

Been working on trying to distill the lines and detail into more symplified line work and shapes. Got a lil cartoony at times but its getting there. Its been helpfull to try and draw goups of people not getting caught up in too much specific detail.

although too much detail can also end in getting Big headed ladies like this one. head focus body second never the two shall coincide with a mutual proportion.
Big headed lady is colored (not finished yet) with water soliable Carryn d’ache crayon.

Loved this guy. Im pretty sure he had a button for every cause goig back to sufferage. Pins spilling from the inside of the bag spreading across the exterior. I think they may have been miltiplying while i was drawing. He also had Ipod/phone which he was busy ineracting with.

Ole girl on the left got a lil full of herself as she noticed me glancing at her; Funny how people react when being examined. she got a lil, ‘this outfit was worth the time it took to get together, im being noticed’, to the uncomfortable wonderment of, ‘ do i have boogie, or maybe im spotting- [ it could happen]or whatever the gazillion inseurities people have’– sorry just doodling . At any rate there were slim pickin’s on the train this morning

This Moleskin paper isnt a big fan of water and or water color. You kinda have to set up a play date and force interaction; However if you introduce some caran d’ache crayon into the party you get a Ménage à fun.

After leaving the brush that came with the windsor newton travel water color set, i had to improvise at staples. I lucked out and got some really shitty brushes and some kids crayola ‘mess-less’ water color brushes, sort of like a water brush but with premixed paint inside. It would be cool it they could be refilled with just water or custom colors; a waterbrush on the cheap.

if it makes a mark, I want two. A good pen is a good pen is a good pen, weather its .65 cents or 65$ or more, it it fits my grip and makes a good mark, i use it. I think the years of Style Writing has pushed me into making pictures, and not care about the physical life span of the image. Style Writing (graffiti) is so temporal but lives on via the hyper vigilant documentation by artist and fan alike. In that vein, the picture lives, degrades, changes, the document/ scan/ digital photo, is proof it existed. Through multiple sets of documentations you can track the evolution and understand the life span of the picture.

Style-Writig like life is an equal opportunity event, its open to all. Anyone is welcome to step up the plate, and take their chances at success and or miserable failure.
- some people are born with it, what ever they touch seems to be laced with some brilliance.
I always hated these people. There’s nothing like struggling to do the simplest thing while watching your man basically cooling, multitasking on the crackberry while rocking, even though he has pink eye and a gimp painting arm..
- some people can learn it, through varied amounts of tutelage and practice and trial and error these folks with some luck will get it.
- some people don’t have it. Never will have it, no matter how had they try, beg borrow and steal they will never get it or do it.
