Sat in between two families, that illustrated the huge divide in family structures. One family had two parents that were dotting and playing 21 questions with their daughter. The other was gramdma and three young girls, all of whom seemed to have their own ideas of what to do while minding the iron fist of gramma. At one point Gramma was engaged in some behavior correction that involved so hushed yelling and some extreme wrist squeezing of the youngest girl, who balled in pain. ITs too bad that many adults are so tired and stressed form trying to just stay afloat, that at the end of the day they have no patients for the fruit of their labors.

In the wake; RIP IZ
Friday, June 19th, 2009It was brought to my attention thursday june 16th,2009, the Style-Writer Iz the Wiz passed away due to heart failure. The style writing community is less one Huge member now, which is a tragedy. The loss is being felt around the world. I did not know IZ, and do not want to posthumously start a relationship, but his passing has gotten me thinking.
How sad is it to be proud that Iz got to die naturally and that we aren’t morning the his loss via a senseless act of ignorance, as so often seems the case. A loss is a loss and is always felt as such, however in my life time, i have been almost programmed to expect tragedy to be accompanied and or caused by violence. I didnt grow up in the worst of it, which leads me to believe that, i am only a fraction as desensitized and many more, bloodclot.

Crazy hair dude, Prisma color pencil, white guache
Its looking more and more like watercolor pencil and water brush are the more effective way to get a nice solid color coat on to the pages of these moleskin’s.
A nice like coat of pencil followed by a light wash will coat the surface and make it easier to then apply more color in richers shades.
