The name Reason and RasClot is a play on the Ying and yang. I like the idea that one can work to define things as much by what they aren’t as by what they are; and the balancing and negotiating process between opposites helps to define contextualize each other by highlighting their opposites.

Reason And RasClot, is a collection of the various works of Heavylox’ a New York based Artist and Designer, free thinker/ space cadet. R&R is a reflection of the wide array of interests of Heavylox, from visual media to word play and processes that lead to and extend out from btoh.

Heavylox is interested in the art of process. The more process is revealed the more thoroughly it can be understood. The sketchbook was the traditional forum for the working out of ideas, and it still is however upping the level of organization and access to said ideas the digital world has swooped in. R&R is thus a digital extension of the sketchbook (however affording much more dynamic content), a form that Heavylox will embrace into the grave.

The name says it all. However in time, no doubt ways will be found to redundantly over explain the situation.
