Sunday, March 7th, 2010when i looked at what seemed like one of the warmer parts of the day the I&iPhone said 57Degrees. It was a heat wave in the Bronx today. It would be a COD outing it didn’t run late and off schedule. I was up and Rock ready at 830 by 11 Enue was ready to go…ughhh. So with at least two hours of sun lost the plan had to be cut back quite a bit. Al told it was a real good day, time not with standing.
Connector soonish;

Booger picked up cat poo
Sunday, January 24th, 2010So Im in the living room, scanning this Ges sketch i did while on a rath block. And i hear, “Ewwwww, that’s gross!”, from the kitchen. This is what you get booger for being a psycho cleaner. Apparently Booger had just thrown out some old and dead flowers and thought she saw a flower remnant on the floor. So she bent over to scoop it up and as she grabbed it, it was warm and soft to the touch. NOT flower remnant at all, but a little loaf of Suzy poo. YEAH, that’s not surprising or horrifying first thin in the AM. Well next time maybe your zeal and zeal for clean will me mitigated by you’re memory of warm fresh cat leavings.
Why Suzy is having issues with finding her litter box is an entirely separate issue that needs to be dealt with, I’m googling the Cat whisperer and get this sorted STAT.
Just a rough up with not a lo of finesse time involved, like a quick cut at super cuts, a cheap lil shape up t convey the gist.
- The biggest issue is the spacing, the initial GES are nicely backed in traveling size, whilst the er at the end are a lil more spread ot and getting ahead of itself.

Sunday, October 4th, 2009A few years ago Rath was working with very similar shapes, the direction was promising but never really succeeded properly. Below is a piece from the time in question, while this was probably one of the more successful versions using this type of letter structure, on the whole it never quite took off properly. I think at the time Rath was more focused on technical issues which prevented stepping back to see and release the potential.
You can see similarities in the letter structures working off a base of trapezoidal shapes mixed with some curves. The intention was create dynamic shapes that worked as well as abstracted shapes as they did as coherent ( to the seasoned viewer) letters.
the below piece borrows a bit from many stages of rath letters, now creating a much more successful whole, with loads of rooms for improvement still.

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009drawing on the train the other day when i realized the guy sitting next to me was pin guy. Pin guy, he had a name and i had a picture of him and had told several people about him. Pin guy, you know I’m politically aware, check out all the pin on my bag, oh and did you see the ones in the under the flap. yeah ive got so many they kind of spill out, all over the bag. Yeah i got causes and shit i care to wear flare about.
I have seen several of the people ive drawn since starting drawing on the way to and from work. Drawing, even for a short time, is almost like the act of writing acts and a memory aid. Your sitting there basically inspecting somebody; which in this day and age doesnt always go over well, and can be easily misinterpreted. You get to know someone while drawing them, they reveal a tic, or notice you and then you do the dance. The dance of negotiating the i notice you looking at me pretending your not looking at me; and now im gonna sit here and feel uncomfortable until my stop arrives. When you run across someone youve spent that time with its like seeing an old friend. You wonder what theyve been doing and so on.
I can relate to the early ideas/fears of cameras steeling souls… theres a power in the portriat, and its various forms.
