FallRiver MaGot an A4 watercolor moleskine on Friday. Even though i couldn’t think of more the 100 things i would have rather done then drive to Massachusetts, drive to Massachusetts is what i did.  Not sure what it is about  forced socialization that i hate but, I dont really enjoy it. Luckily the wedding party was near some water with some typical water fare… So ive done one of the ‘every watercolorists’ subjects the water, row boat and shoreline, not well but its done, or started at least.

site #2

Beginning sketch and partial view.

site #3at this point the tide had gone out quite a bit, and it was getting kind of cold. Also seen is one of a trio of museum stool i got as ‘parting’ gifts upon finishing under graduate  studies; Best gifts ever. This bad boy has been all over the place, giving both ass comfort as well and more importantly, a step up. Its funny this is the second time in 14 years its been used to actually sit on and draw as it was intended for…

Toolsforgot the top to the newton travel watercolor set so i had to use the shells, they look cute but arent as usefull as they could be… i also didnt spend much time searching the bounty of shells for deeper ones. bleh.

yellow dress

Cute young gilr trying to catch some Z’ss on the way home from her day of whatever it was. Meanwhile back in the Moleskine its a struggle to color, the sheen on the paper is a fun little obstacle .
